Hey friends! Carissa here! I am a Pilates teacher at The STudio.

My love for movement is deep in my bones and is truly an intimate part of my heart. I've studied a variety of styles, but nothing fills me up more than teaching mat classes.

I've been an instructor for 5 years. My story is like many others. I was a young mom simply looking for some alone time when I found barre classes in 2016. It clicked and I knew. It felt like I was home and I was meant to be there from day 1. I silently put out to the universe that I wanted to teach, and boy did it listen. To this day, there is nothing like it. Teaching Mat Fusion at The Studio reminds me of silent whispers in my heart and is the foundation of my life-- Community.

I have a B.S. in Community and Regional Development from UCDavis. I'm a mom of 2 girls, a wife, a real estate agent, a fitness instructor, a manager and forever a glass overflowing person. I hope you come take class with me so I can cheer for you!
