Deacon
Hello, I’m Deacon Carpenter
I’m a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist, yoga instructor, author, and wellness educator whose work is rooted in a simple philosophy: when we care for the roots of our health, balance naturally follows.
I studied Ayurveda at Maharishi International University, where I also helped develop undergraduate and graduate Ayurveda programs, and have worked alongside leading integrative physicians to bring Ayurvedic principles into Western healthcare. As a lifelong meditation practitioner, my approach is grounded, thoughtful, and deeply practical.
My current work is centered in WellFound, where I design and lead experiences for corporate teams, retreats, conferences, and private groups seeking a more meaningful approach to wellbeing. Set against the natural beauty of Sonoma and Napa, these gatherings are designed to foster connection, restore energy, and create space for presence through movement, breathwork, and immersive restorative practices.
At The Studio, I teach yoga and curate restorative and wellness experiences in The Upstairs Space, bringing together movement and mindfulness in a way that feels both accessible and deeply rooted.
